Event Planners of Houston is a full service wedding and event planning company that specialize in stylish celebrations that are chic and sophisticated. We have a true passion for what we do and we are looking for someone who shares in that same passion.
Responsibilities:
The event sales representative will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Coordinate business meetings
Perform daily expectations to achieve minimum sales goals
Outgoing sales presentations by phone and/or email
Build strong client relationships for repeat and referral bookings
Participate in weekly sales meeting
Generate revenue from sales through various outreach channels
Create opportunities for new business with existing customers
Research, analyze and develop profit generating opportunities
Solicit new business
Attend local trade shows and networking events
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma
Some college preferred
Reliable transportation
Computer skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to manage multiple task and meet deadlines
Attention to detail
Maintain professionalism
Ability to work with little to no supervision
Knowledge of wedding/event planning industry
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
Background in marketing/sales
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Pay Information:
Starting pay is based on proven experience and includes bonuses. Flexible hours.
