Part Time Assistant Event Coordinator
Event Planners of Houston is a full service wedding and event planning company that specialize in stylish celebrations that are chic and sophisticated. We have a true passion for what we do and we are looking for someone who shares in that same passion.
Responsibilities:
The assistant event coordinator will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Assisting the coordinator(s) through all phases of an event
Creating room diagrams
Assembling binders for new clients
Assist with necessary errands in preparation for an event
Assist and attend upcoming event industry shows (locally only)
Other projects as directed by the coordinator
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma
Reliable transportation
Computer skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to manage multiple task and meet deadlines
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast paced environment
Ability to handle confidential information
Attention to detail
Maintain professionalism
Ability to work with little to no supervision
Be willing to work a minimum of 10 hours per week. (Including Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
Background in marketing/sales
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Pay Information:
Starting pay is $9.00 per hour with bonuses. Will depend on proven experience. Flexible hours.
